Story

I am Dinesh A., and I am pursuing a B. Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture degree at the AD Agricultural College and Research Institute, Trichy, under the Tamilnadu Agricultural University. I am the first graduate in my family. My father is a tailor. Since my childhood, I have had profound interests in academics and other extracurricular activities. I have participated in various quiz competitions and have won state-level and national-level prizes. I have also performed exceptionally well in all my school examinations. I have also participated in sports and games at the school level. I am currently a National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadet. Also, I am a sincere person, which will be evident from the fact that I have had 100% attendance in my academic years. I have a deep desire to do research and apply the gained knowledge in the form of service to the society for its betterment and upliftment. I want to transform the agricultural sector into a sustainable and self-reliant system without harming the eco-system in a way that is more environmentally friendly, which not only we but also our future generations can benefit from. I promise that I will help everyone equally, without any discrimination. Even though I have a great deal of interest in gaining knowledge, my only problem is my financial condition. My parents are even struggling to meet their daily needs. I also have a sister. In this condition, I am finding it extremely difficult to pay my hostel fees, mess fees, and semester fees. Also, I am unable to manage the expenses of buying academic-related books, stationery, and other personal expenses. As my course demands proper, regular, and intense study of the subject, I can’t deviate from my studies and work part-time. Not to mention, our classes start at 7:30 a.m. Hence, I kindly request that you help me financially to the extent you can, so that I can continue my studies, without which the possibilities for continuing my degree programme are very dim. I am determined to give back the help I received in the form of service to society if I receive any financial assistance. I will be thankful to you all my life if you help me in my time of need.
